PROJECT 1 : Malaria Prevention and Control Measures at Kisalosalo Zone, Kyebando Parish, Kawempe Division, Kampala, Uganda

Key Activities:
- Community awareness on Malaria
- Activity Description: community sensitization on prevention and control of malaria and methods of prevention.
- Outcome: Increased awareness among residents about the importance of using mosquito nets to prevent malaria.
- Distribution of Mosquito nets
- Activity Description: 100 mosquito nets were distributed to residents of Kamwokya, with a special focus on Lisa Care that houses disadvantaged Persons living with Disabilities.
- Outcomes: Expected reduction in the incidence of malaria and other mosquito-borne diseases in the community, Improved health and well-being of the residents, particularly those in Lisa Care and Strengthened community ties and increased trust in local health initiatives.

PEOJECT 2 : Plant your balance’ in Moroto and Musalaba, Amuru District

- Moroto Regional Referral Hospital, Moroto Municipality and Musalaba Village, Amuru District
- Rotary E-Club of Naguru, Moroto Municipality Local Government, Local Community, St. Stephen Church, Musalaba and Wi Tochi Agroforestry Group
Key Activities:
- Planting trees in Moroto Regional Referral Hospital and Moroto Municipality streets
- Activity Description: planting 1200 fruits as well as 200 timber trees in Moroto Regional Referral Hospital and Moroto Municipality streets
- Outcome: Environmental conservation and community development as well as fighting malnutrition in the badly hit areas
- Distribution of tree seedlings to St. Stephen Church, Musalaba and Wi Tochi Agroforestry Group Musalaba village in Amuru District.
- Activity Description: 2,718 tree seedlings, a mixture of avocado, jackfruit and mangoes
- Outcome: Environmental conservation and community development as well as nutritional benefits
PROJECT 3: Empowering the school and surrounding community at St. Martin Primary School, Lukome
Key Activities:
- Training in Making Reusable Pads:
- Target Group: 120 girls, 22 parents, and 7 teachers.
- Activity Description: The participants were trained in the process of making reusable pads as a means to address menstrual hygiene. This will provide a sustainable solution for girls to stay in school during their periods.
- Outcome: Girls and women were empowered with skills to make reusable pads, and the school was provided with materials to continue making pads after the training.
- Donation of a Sewing Machine:
- Purpose: To support the school in making reusable pads.
- Outcome: The sewing machine will enable the school to produce more reusable pads and train additional students and community members.
- Provision of Walking Aides to PwDs:
- Beneficiaries: Close to 50 persons with disabilities (PwDs).
- Items Donated: Crutches, walking sticks, knee braces, and a lumbar corset.
- Outcome: These donations will help improve the mobility and quality of life for the beneficiaries.
- Educational Materials Donation:
- Items Donated: 4 cartons of chalk, 48 mathematical sets, and 60 BELEP (Basic Education and Literacy Enhancement Program) books.
- Outcome: These materials will enhance the learning experience for students at St. Martin Primary School, particularly in improving literacy and mathematics.
- Tree Planting:
- Trees Donated and Planted: Over 1,000 trees.
- Outcome: The tree-planting exercise was carried out both at the school and in the surrounding community. This effort is part of a long-term environmental sustainability initiative to improve the region’s forest cover.
